چکیده
This document describes problems, approaches and solutions in the area of network management, from the TIGER2 point of view. Higher manageability issues are tackled in six areas. 1) The hitless maintenance approach eases the work of the human operator by mastering maintenance tasks through automated processes. 2) The approach for energy aware routing exploits ideas of flow aggregation, and aims at finding the optimal type and amount of resources for balanced network performance and power efficiency. 3) OPEX and CAPEX awareness through a new networking architecture is described through the LOCARN concept of TIGER2. 4) Further self-optimized network resource allocation can be achieved by finetuning the characteristics of the Spanning Tree Protocol. 5) Inter-domain traffic engineering problems are proposed to be tackled through sharing the intelligence between control planes. 6) Finally, more knowledge could also be gathered through extensive traffic monitoring, which allows traffic mix and traffic matrix analysis (among others) to support decision making in order to actuate proper modifications at the network node level for optimal operation. Application of quality function deployment (QFD) to improve product design: The school furniture case
Today Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a powerful development method whit a wide range of applications to translate customers’ needs into technical requirements for achieving customer satisfaction. The current study demonstrated a QFD analysis to improve school furniture design in Tehran as the baseline of Iran. Accordingly, we extended the widely used QFD method into a complex set of custo...
متن کاملReport of a Case of Vitamin D Resitant Rickets Associated with Congenital Alopecia
Vitamin D resistant rickets with alopecia is a rather rare heritable disease probably caused by a different variety of metabolic disorder of this vitamin. Disturbances of protoplasmic and unclear receptors for vitamin D metabolites in bones and intestinal cells have been proposed as basic mechanism; Alopecia is attributed to hypersensitivity to vitamin D; very much like what usually appears in ...
متن کاملUpgrading Wastewater Treatment Plants Based on Reuse Demand, Technical and Environmental Policies (A Case Study)
Reclamation and reuse programs are an indispensable part of integrated water resource management, particularly in arid and semi arid regions. Yet, the feasibility of sustainable application not only is relied on design, operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, but also could be influenced by the economical and environmental aspects of reuse demands. This study is aimed to illus...

متن کاملReport of Problems and Difficulties and Solutions to Empower Local Communities of Preservation Plan (a Case Study: Nilang Conventional Territory)
A purpose of Zagros forests preservation plan is to reduce degradation factors through empowering woodman beneficiaries and underdevelopment of rural forested areas which appear as scattered agronomies inside and in forest margins, trees cutting for power supply, trees cutting for hay supply or making coal in forested regions. Therefore, natural resources experts believe that, by creation or im...
